Every year, Charlottesville Running Company features a series of speakers.  The speakers are selected amongst influential members of the running community.  The Speaker Series is designed to inform and motivate runners of all backgrounds.  The topics include INJURY PREVENTION, NUTRITION, TRAINING, ADVENTURES, STRENGTH.

45 min.     try 15 medicine ball exercises to improve core strength, coordination, and add intensity and variety to your training
July 21, 7am    It’s All You:  Simple Core Exercises Using Body Weight        $10
15 min.    Training: how much, how often, assessing progress
45 min.    Core exercises using only body weight to achieve strength, balance, and muscular endurance
July 28, 7am    Tackling Chronic SI Joint, Hip and Low Back Issues            $10
15 min.    Understanding anatomy, weakness, and pain
45 min.    Strength training and stretches for the sacro-iliac joint, hip and low back area
All three core workshops may be taken for $25.
